if you buy in future a second card you will have 2gb ram. i played battlefield 3 on ultra with 1920 x 1080 in 3d modus directx 10. Card is a Leadtek WinFast GTX 285 2gb ram
gpu is at 70% and ram at 30%. So a 2gb ram card is useless![]()

Hmm, not really sure it works that way, if you're talking about Crossfire/SLI. I mean there sure is a performance improvement over a single card, but it's still effectively 1+1gb (cards don't share memory, but just split duties) and not 2gb.The only thing I hope is I won't regret the decision of buying a 1gb card in just a year or so, when there may be games that require more memory to run certain filters properly (if it wasn't like his, we'd still be using 128mb cards even now). I might just wait a little more before making a decision, but thanks.
