Clan stealing server names just heads up

I just noticed today after couple of players mentioned me that few of my servers where redirecting to other clan servers.

I checked the IP and guess what? It's redirect to this server.

What a sucker.. first he said, my server gives more rating while I just run same settings since years which are basically jaymod cvars and nothing else.... then his clan mate(leader/member) asks on our forums for help and we help him as far as we can and then he starts fake servers redirecting to his server.

I joined that IP and it redirected me to your server IP. Don't play around with lies.

I banned your IP's on my server which stopped faking for time being.

I wanted to write about this but I wasn't 100% sure. From your screenshot I conclude that my game isn't bugged. One time I tried to connect to F|A (don't remember which one but I'm sure it was Jaymod one in the USA), the game asked if I want to redirect, I chose OK and it redirected me to... ETc. IMHO that's not nice they use F|A's popularity to promote their own server.

fa connects to etc? lol. i see there no competition. We are 100% with other settings, and on fa are only rating players.

Servers that not registered by my name i give a shit on it. servers who not run with this ip 188.138.86.50 is not mine and i dont give any guarantee.

yea well browse list is pretty much usless since a year.. imo started with some putting up redirect servers with similar color coding and small changes to name (we all know the low life clan )
and before anyone bitch, sure i have a fake server as everyone else but at least i use our server name.

That's what I mean to say. Using own name is fine but here some suckers where using other clan name and then redirecting it to there server.

My above screenshot clearly shows they where faking Nexus (ETpro) server, mine, etc..

well dont jump to conclusions
its easy to setup a fake server redirecting to someone else..one thing we learned running servers is that people dont care shit about ur hard work and money spent.
they fake a server and stir some shit and then 6 months later they gone..

just cause server hosted at serverloft.de dont mean its etc. and going to http://188.138.32.179/ it looks like a kids chat

Clearly said, those server belongs to TFL Dev!L and Dev!l claims he is not owner but funnily how those IP where redirecting to his server.
