My ET hangs after 5 minutes (can not play longer than 5 minutes), then the picture is frozen and my pc shuts down.
I have updated the punkbuster and does not know what it could be. I ask for help. thank you

Hello used to get that problem moment ago each time i started my ET, it crashed.
And it still happening now .. PB stuff has nothing to do with it.

I remember i used to reinstall my XP (format)and problem was solved. Scan virus and stuff are useless its not gonna fix anything.
Well thats how i did , now maybe someone has a better solution

if pc shuts down my guess its a hardware problem. could be overheated cpu or something that makes it shut down.

hmm Try to touch the motherboard thing , to see if its heat , if you cant let your hand on it then something wrong with motherboard.

Maybe someone will give you the solution , hope so

in your bios u should see a setting to shut down when overheated.. just for u to find out whats causing it

this sounds like my problem some days ago. same things happen like here.

My Problem was that a sata cable was stucked in the fan of the grapiccard.

Maybe clean all fans, remove the grapicard and install it again.

or maybe put some new thermalcompound to the cpus.

Not really man -.-
I can play sometimes 5 mins and other time 2-3 maps but anytimes it doesnt work anymore and i must restart my computer
