Et 2.55/et 2.60b

Hi All,

I recently updated my server map files to 2.60B. my client in the C:/Program Files/ ect is still 2.55. My server is windows deticated. (ETpub version 1.0.0 Nightlybuild) I cant get the "WolfDED" file to work. Here is a screenshot included.

When i click the file it goes to the etmain map. when i exec the server.cfg file it loads up from the etmain. and i want it to load from my etpub. What i,m doing wrong. Please help me out! The thing is i want both versions connect to my server. 3.0.0.

What is your command line?

"C:\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\ET.exe" +set dedicated 2 +net_ip ***.***.0.*** +net_port 27960 +set fs_game etpub +exec server.cfg

This is from the "ETPUB" shortcut. The "ETDED" has no further line and for the "WolfDED" file i cant enter any further line commands.

Hi Daredevil,

It seems i found the problem now, i made a shortcut of the WolfDED.exe file and i can add lines now. I added everything it says include the +set net_port_extra 27965. I tested the server with the 2.60B client and i could come in with 3.0.0 running. I uninstalled my ET and reinstalled the old 2.55. I see the server on the list. However when i connect i get the following error.

Delete pak1.pk3, pak2.pk3 and mp_bin.pk3 from your etmain server folder and then u can join from 2.55 client.

I think that worked, i also get automatic server messages on the server that i,m running old ET version. Thank you so much!
