Recently I started making maps after a very long break.
Trying to remind myself all the features of radiant by creating some 1 on 1 maps and small frag arenas. One by one, experimenting. Since there is quite a lot that I have forgotten, I will be creating lots more.
The first maps are more plain and the recent ones are detailed & better. The 1536 is a bit too big & plain.
1)dd_frag3 the first of the series 1536x1536, not as detailed as the others but offers some interesting arena for fighting, experimented with glowing construction_box shader here (in spawns), some might like this for a 1 on 1
2)dd_frag4 small 1024x1024 a smaller frag map for 1 on 1, more detailed
3)dd_frag5 a small 1024x1024 1 on 1, a small frag map for 1 on 1 with some custom textures
4)dd_frag6 a small 1024x1024 1 on 1 hedge map, A very simple map with some wooden buildings and some hedges to hide. This took a lot less to create, I've always wanted to make something like it, simple layout+ green hedges. More of a test map, very simple.
5)dd_frag7 A little more than 1024x1024 but the buildings take up space. Features bunker_sd textures. Multiple ways out of the spawn, middle path, below, small corridor leading to stairs. Mirrored, both sides look the same.
6)dd_frag8 simple environment for 1 on 1 fighting, similar battery graphics, mirrored, both sides look the same here.

7) dd_frag9 a small 1024x1024, some buildings. Fits 1 on 1 fighting.
8) dd_frag10 a small classic battery concrete style 1 on 1 arena.
9) dd_frag11 a small 1 on 1 arena
10) dd_frag12 a small 1 on 1 arena
11) dd_frag13 a small 1 on 1 arena, the "mint frag"
12) dd_frag14 a small 1 on 1 map, desert theme
13) dd_frag15 a small 1 on 1 map, desert theme
14) dd_frag16 rectangle 1 on 1 map, concrete and blue lining
