Cheatz and rate stealing? lol

Recently there was a botter playing on FA under the name "misoz". Here's his tb link https://et.trackbase.net/player/6260143/

Once discovered FA admins properly banned him as expected. Takes a few days when it's humanized to be sure it's not just a good aimer. Here's the link to the topic

Now the silly part. At some point during the few days it took to collect demos and deal with properly his rate suddenly went missing. It was all transfered to this players new alias https://et.trackbase.net/player/6240422/

I'm not sure if they are misoz or just a rater stealing a hackers rate as their own, both being equally as ridiculous. I also don't know your policy on stealing rate, especially a hackers rate, but out of spite for having to waste hours of my time dealing with misoz, I'm making this post.

thanks for reporting this issue to us.

I was aware of the user who had stolen several names. He requested a rating transfer a few days ago already, but I locked it, so no admin from the team can approve the transfer. Unfortunately it expired / the user withdrew the request and started another, bypassing the lock. An admin from the team did the transfer eventually.

I'll handle this according to our "No mercy" policy, banning the user and releasing all players on that account.

Additionally the rating transfers done on that account will be undone.

Thank you for reporting this issue. Of course I have undone the transfers and reverted the rating to the old stats.

Additionally I have placed a stricter barrier to locked requests and added more logging to ease handling of future cases like this one.
