Hello
I can see a server in jaymod 2.1.7, with an "Alternative Cheat Protection", do you know if it is SLAC system, or a new soft ?
Thanks in advance, because PB lags still exist on Windows clients. OK no more "Loosing Key Packets #9014" or the famous "3 seconds peek lags", but still annoying lags ...
Server is http://et.trackbase.net/index.php?mod=serverinfo&idx=4399

That's something different from SLAC, that's all i can tell you :) I'm not really into those stuff.
there is simply no anti cheat protection , we used to put "Alternative Cheat Protection" when TB started , there was a problem with PB and servers had to disable it .. but since Admins are there to take care of the server , rating was enabled , so thats " Alternative Cheat Protection"
It's also used for SLAC yes , because for the moment there is no little icon for slac etc but it gonna change soon .

Actually, servers using SLAC have "SLAC Protected" status, not "Alternative cheat protection".

I don't get any 'lag' from PB. Might want to try what Jaybird suggested:
In Windows 7:
In the control panel -> appearance and personalization, there should be "NVIDIA Control Panel".
Under 3D Settings -> Manage 3D settings -> Program settings, for WolfET, turn "Threaded Optimization" off (in lieu of On or Auto).
