Ping ?!

Hi everyone,

I have a question, in the serverlist it shows up that I have a ping of between 1 and 40.. In game it will go up too 100/200/300 ;s
Primitives 2 doesnt workk, and no idea what should fix it? Anyone an idea?

the ping in the serverlist is not allways correct, you mean the ingame server list right?


r_primitives is a command about graphic rendering, has nothing to do with the ping,
i use r_primitives 2 on laptop with ati graphic, on pc (nvidia graphic) i dont need to change the primitives.

Actually r_primitives may be needed on ATI or NVIDIA. It's been known to effect NVIDIA as well and affects mine too. I've never needed this since 2003, but suddenly about a month ago I needed the cvar set to 2. I didn't even do any updates and I've had my video card for about a year.

Okaayy,, well it seems to be finee now except for some laggs sometimes. Only have a slow sound reaction on my laptop atm.
