2 years ago there was a romored that there were a little group of a Gaming producer who were working on a remake of ET based on a new Engine.
Anybody knows smth about it and if yes its possible to donate or support them coz i never left this game fully since 7 years and i ll never its the best game in anyway and i give a f*** of the graphic and sound. THE GAMEPLAY IS THE MAIN POINT :D.

No, there is no team who develops W:ET remake. All rights to RtCW/W:ET/ET:QW/BRINK belongs to ZeniMax so only they can develop/publish any remakes or continuations of their games. I highly doubt there will ever be W:ET 2.

Want to play a game with future? Counter-Strike with its great Valve support (no sacrasm) is waiting for you.

Ignore Draginji.

1) I'm not sure if you heard about this project, but is has been there a for a time now:
http://www.etlegacy.com/
=> basically Dragon is right about this. It's not a remake, it's just like the silent mod. Which TRIES to fix some common bugs in et/ Make a sort of new gameplay. For example the hitboxes in enemy territory are literately boxes.
Meaning you can hit players, by shooting a few millimetres of target. Some mods try to fix this. Most realistic hitboxes are the ones from Etpro (even they aren't really realistic!!). Silent mod however has the capability to almost exactly copy those boxes. So before we start this arguement, check it yourself. This how you can do/see it:

3) Also listen to this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=00Q9-ftiPVQ (start from 1:04:45)=> will take 12mins of your time.
So yes, ETlive, is a remake. Just hoping it will come out soon.

Neither of these two are remakes, dude... Your post is so full of misinformation and generalisations, I almost got cancer.

ET:L is a regular W:ET with the same freaking engine as vanilla W:ET (id Tech 3).
ETLive is just a try of getting ET:L into a web browser, which will not succeed anyway to be honest.

And ETlive is coded practically from scratch, but based on the original ETmain engine.
And yes, they will try to let you play with your browser. But still it will be different.
You'll see.

Nice attitude: "I almost got cancer". There I was, believing you are a mature guy.
Feels sad to be wrong :(

legacy mod is not going to modify gameplay. We may differ in gameplay definition though.

You should've checked the actual hitboxes before writing something like this...

Do these even look like the most realistic hitboxes?

Even Jaymod has an option to set smaller ones (sic!):

You'll see.
1. etmain is not the engine but the mod (cgame/qagame).
2. The engine is called id Tech 3.
3. It is not a remake in a definition from the first post:

a remake of ET based on a new Engine.

Put b_realhead on 1

Put b_realhead on 1
b_realhead 1 enables realhead, but it doesn't have any debugging features enabled, i.e. you won't be able to see anything... if you have any notion of binary numbers and bitflags, you would know that any odd number leaves realhead still on (bit 0 would be 1)

Those extra flags, when enabled, show the hitboxes (provided that the player doesn't move, in that case the debug hitboxes would lag behind)

In my opinion, realistic hitboxes are a bad idea unless the game has a perfect hit detection, especially for fast paced games like ET.
With boxes like etpro ones, you compensate for all the problems you often have in internet games. The server must know where you saw the enemy, while keeping the hit detection fully server-side to avoid cheats, and the client generally predicts future commands, simulating them before they reach the server (i.e. you move at once, instead of waiting for the server to tell you that you moved, a.k.a. client prediction) but the client can't tell the server his position, to prevent speedhacks and the like, so you *will* have prediction errors.
Make boxes smaller in a game with random bullets like ET, and people won't hit even if they aim correctly.

And already people complain about hitting with those huge boxes, I played once with those jaymod small 'realistic' boxes and they are crap (gameplay-wise, I don't mean they are bugged, they did a good job but imho the idea was a fail)
