Today, we are proud to announce the launch of an all-new North American community site, NA-Center (http://na-center.net/). In the long history of North America and Wolfenstein there have been a few of these (Planet-RtCW, ET-Center, WoCen, etc.), which have served as central hubs for the community to organize and socialize on. The site is aimed at reinvigorating the North American ET community, providing a source of news, forums, and a venue for new competitive efforts.

Our goal is to provide support for North America similar to what exists in communities like Australia and Chile. NA-Center will host tournaments aimed at North American players, providing a more enjoyable and practical (ping and timezone wise) way to experience ETPro, as well as a way into the scene for pub players. Click here (http://na-center.net/) to visit the site.

The site is staffed by a mix of league administrators and active members of the community. Lead developer is BlaZeR (GamesTV Semi-Supervisor, ex-CB/ESL/ETL/ET-Masters admin, ex-newswriter for Vicious & Evil/play2win, among others). Virus047 is advising development (having served as an STA administrator since 2003 for RtCW and ET). Ceres, the driving force behind the site, who directs development and creates content, has been a constant force in the upper levels of North American competition and has served as an anti-cheat admin for several leagues. sneak provides a public ETPro server, serves as a web developer and creator of how-to guides for new players. News is directed by Brisk, who served as a newswriter at WoCen. Finally, Number1Dad (ex-ETL admin, ex-WoCen admin, ex-shoutcaster) will bring his experience to the site as the man in charge of content and as a key advisor.

If you're interested in helping out in any capacity, contact Ceres on xfire (ceres1) or on IRC (Ceres in #na-center on Quakenet).

Make sure you check your email after registration.

Looks like a very strong team, hope you guys can revive ET a bit in America.
Because I noticed that the community there was shrinking :/. With a Japan server
and now an American community, ET is represented everywhere in the world again :).
