It's working again , if it bugs once again im gonna report it to paul.
Yea we are aware of the problem.
I will need to do some pain staking research again to make sure this doesn't happen anymore.
Will do this as soon as possible, sorry for the inconvenience.

At the moment it seems to be working.
Paul hasn't yet put my fix into service so can't do much at the moment but wait for that to happen.

Something is definitely wrong with the new method, I will ask Paul to restart using the old one untill I am sure it is fixed.

E: Didn't look at the kills'n'deaths counter..
As Giriel said , something wrong with the new tracker its not stable , so untill all those bugs are fixed , old tracker will be used.
I have fixed some issues and tracker is up and running again.
If crashes occur again please inform me, (I seriously hope they don't ).

As such it can perform some commands like regular ET players.
To get the k/d we simply ask statsall and use that information.

So far so good, let's see if we can run this until new year without the need to fix a crashed server. If this is the case, we'll enlarge the test with a lot more servers and will open for signup.

Sometimes servers do funny things and I haven't prepared the client for it so that gives a crash.
It are those actions that I am searching so the crashes will stop.

Why not play with ET code?Its not that hard to but stats sending to trackbase.
And use edited etded.exe for servers,client don't need nothing since the et.exe has been untoched(Just change server code :P).
Way easier than some nasty scripts.
No script is used, written in C, C++.
It is partially based upon the source code.
But we don't want everything of ET only the parts we really need.
And some additional functionality to work with the trackbase systems.
All in all a very interesting project and I'm happy to have done it :)

I guess you hooked with the game module as tb_qgame.so ? :D like enhmod has.
Like change data types (example: static float goes to float,so it can be manipulated).I guess you worked at g_session:D

i found the problem of cashes...
its the getstatus.sh from wolffiles....its a great thing but somehow it bans TB ip or something i donno
i hope we found a solution ^^

Nope, we tried and checked with that but that just prevents TB from scanning, it won't activate the crashing mechanism.
But things are looking good, no crash in 24 hours now :)

We can't truly unravel our secrets but we do not do something like that, would be too much work and too much overhead =)
